About Me
John Basso has extensive experience building startups from the ground up. He is knowledgeable about IT strategy, enterprise software, mobile, cloud, application development, high performance teams and several SDLC including Agile.
John served as the CIO and Co-Founder at Amadeus Consulting for over 20 years. Amadeus Consulting is a custom software company that assists businesses in creating scalable technology solutions. In late 2016, Amadeus was acquired by Exadel, a software engineering company that offers custom development services across the globe.
John is currently an Advisory Board Member for Outdoor Prolink (ecommerce), Lefthand Design (aerospace components) and Uprising Technology (fundraising SaaS for higher education). Previous board experience includes the University of Denver, where John assisted in developing the Master’s Degree in Business Analytics program, and iSatori, where John assisted in scaling up a consumer products startup.
Prior to Amadeus Consulting, Mr. Basso was a senior technology consultant for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), where he spent five years delivering enterprise software solutions to Fortune 500 companies across the U.S. and Europe.
